Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Emerging Technologies to lead a cross-functional team and drive development of disruptive technologies across thermal, water, materials, acoustics, digital, and sustainability domains.

You will own project portfolios, ensure disciplined execution, mentor staff, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver validated outputs that support BAC’s long‑term growth and competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years engineering experience in R&D and new product development with at least 2 years of leadership.
• Experience in thermal-fluid systems, heat transfer, and related domains.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Emerging Technologies team, setting priorities and developing capability.
• Champion innovation, collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.
• Manage a portfolio of projects to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
• Develop resource plans, roadmaps, and talent development aligned with priorities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and external partners to resolve challenges and align resources.
• Present proposals, technical recommendations, and progress updates to diverse audiences.
