Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, FL is seeking an experienced Post Anesthesia Care Unit RN Clinical Manager to supervise departmental activity and personnel, ensuring high quality, compassionate care and efficient operations.

The Clinical Manager will oversee day-to-day care, coordinate with medical staff, support staff development and participate in department education to maintain clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• APRN or RN license required.
• ACLS Instructor certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• PALS Instructor certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise departmental activity and personnel to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
• Oversee day-to-day provision of care in PACU.
• Manage all staff members in the department and liaise with medical staff.
• Maintain department-specific education and serve as a resource.

Job Summary

The Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Manager is responsible for the supervision of departmental activity and personnel in rendering high quality, compassionate and efficient patient care. The Clinical Manager is responsible for day to day provision of care rendered to patients in the department, assists with oversight of daily operations, manages all staff members in the department and works closely with medical staff members. Maintains an active role in department specific education and serves as a resource to the Department.

What qualifications you will need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or (RN) Registered Nurse license required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma required
• 3 years experience required
