Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior analytics leader to drive our DTC ecommerce analytics strategy and oversee a high-performing team responsible for transforming data into actionable insights. You will guide cross-functional stakeholders, shape measurement frameworks, and lead advanced analytics initiatives such as MMM, LTV, and attribution to optimize revenue and growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, CS, Data Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years in web analytics with strategy development in ecommerce/digital environments.
  • Experience mentoring or managing analytics teams.
  • Strong ability to manage tagging strategy and third-party tags.
  • Experience creating regular and ad-hoc reports/dashboards with Excel, Looker Studio, Power BI.
  • Proven experience driving insights to senior leadership and organizational change.

  • Drive advanced analytics initiatives including LTV modeling, forecasting, MMM, attribution, and incrementality.
  • Oversee measurement of the customer journey, website performance, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Establish enterprise reporting frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs for ecommerce performance.
  • Provide oversight for web analytics platforms, tag management, data governance, and privacy compliance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance analytics capabilities and decision-making.
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture.

Job description

  • Lead the execution of the company's Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) eCommerce analytics strategy, aligning measurement capabilities, customer insights, and performance analytics with business growth, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue objectives.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing analytics team, establishing priorities, driving professional growth, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with eCommerce leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations that influence digital investments, pricing, promotions, merchandising, customer experience, and business planning decisions.
  • Drive advanced analytics initiatives including customer segmentation, cohort analysis, customer lifetime value (LTV) modeling, forecasting, predictive analytics, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), multi-touch attribution, and incrementality measurement to optimize business performance.
  • Oversee the measurement and optimization of the end-to-end customer journey, including website performance, digital marketing effectiveness, conversion funnel performance, personalization initiatives, customer retention programs, and digital experimentation efforts.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise reporting frameworks, executive dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide visibility into eCommerce performance, customer behavior, and marketing effectiveness across channels.
  • Provide strategic oversight for web analytics platforms, tag management systems, data governance processes, measurement architecture, and privacy compliance to ensure accurate, scalable, and reliable data collection and reporting.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive insights to continuously enhance analytics capabilities, improve decision-making, and identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational efficiency.
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in web analytics, with a strong emphasis on analytics strategy development and implementation within eCommerce or digital environments.
  • Previous experience in a mentor, supervisor, lead, or manager role is required.
  • Highly advanced skills in managing profiles, integrating third-party tags and creating tagging strategy required.
  • Extensive skills in creating and delivering regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards using tools like Microsoft Excel, Looker Studio, and Power BI required.
  • Demonstrated experience leading analytics teams and developing talent in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing analytics insights to support senior leadership and drive organizational change.
