You will oversee inventory management, process improvements using Lean principles, and a team of clerical/production staff, while ensuring regulatory compliance including FDA/OSHA

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in Distribution & Logistics.
  • At least 5 years of people leadership experience.
  • At least 3 years of warehouse operations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily functional leadership to the distribution team to ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries and positive customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with Stryker Quality System and Financial rules regarding inventory and revenue recognition.
  • Lead a Distribution Unit and supervise clerical/technical staff and production staff.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customer service, sales, finance, quality, HR, IT and operations to meet objectives.
  • Set and achieve inventory, quality, cost, and delivery service targets; support new business opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with quality procedures for Distribution and with financial rules.

Work Flexibility: Onsite
What you will do:

As the Manager, Distribution & Logistics you will provide daily functional leadership and direction to the distribution team to ensure achievement of business goals and objectives through consistent coordination of quality on-time deliveries that are cost effective and provide a positive customer experience. Additionally, will be responsible for compliance to the Stryker Quality System and Stryker Financial rules regarding inventory and revenue recognition management.

Additional responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for the performance of the Distribution Unit.
  • Identifies and is responsible for executing strategic initiatives to ensure ability to meet future growth
  • Be responsible for the selection, supervision, development, engagement and objective achievement for the distribution team consisting of clerical/technical and production staff
  • Work cross functionally with the customer service, sales, finance, quality, human resources, IT and operations team to achieve Stryker mission, vision and objectives
  • Be responsible for setting and achieving inventory management, quality, cost and delivery service objectives
  • Support new business opportunities
  • Be responsible for updating and maintaining compliance to quality system procedures regarding Distribution
  • Be responsible for maintaining compliance to Stryker Financial rules regarding inventory and revenue recognition management
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and procedures (Stryker Quality System, FDA, FAA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Plan and administer procedures and budgets for unit Manage one or more Distribution Unit Supervisor
What you need:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of work experience Distribution & Logistics
  • At least 5 years of people leadership experience
  • At least 3 years of warehouse operations experience

Preferred:

  • Experience working with MS Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint or similar
  • Proven track record of process improvement using Lean principles
  • Medical device/regulated industry experience

Pay Ranges:

US10: $112,900 - $188,100 USD Annual Travel Percentage: 20%

  • Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.
  • Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.
  • Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements.
  • Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
