We are seeking a Cost & Pricing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Government Cost and Pricing, you work in East Aurora, NY (Buffalo area).

As a Cost & Pricing Manager for our Military OEM division, you will be responsible for leading a team who prepares, and supports cost proposals for US, FMS and international government customers. Your role will be crucial in ensuring compliance with customer requirements, Moog's policies and procedures, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

As a Cost & Pricing Manager, you will:

Provide leadership and direct management for the Cost Engineering team to provide training, talent development and support.

Lead team through continuous improvement activities for both internal and external processes and ways of working.

Ensure compliance to the cost estimating system and processes across foreign and domestic sites to achieve accurate accounts of product and program costs estimates.

Manage Moog’s relationship with DCAA and DCMA who have cognizance over Moog’s Pricing activities.

Develop and support pricing strategies for Moog Military Aircraft Group's OEM Division.

Clearly communicate the “financial point of view”, including the cost estimate itself with the related assumptions, in pricing meetings with Senior Leadership to yield the most beneficial pricing decision.

Requires the ability to deal with diverse personalities and cultures within the Moog organization, customer and Government representatives to assure achievement of Group objectives in profitability and compliance.

Must continue to maintain and promote strong customer relationships while dealing in the sometimes-adversarial environment of contract price negotiations.

Assist in the interviewing, hiring, appraisal, mentoring and professional development of team's staff.

Support government and prime customer audit requests, fact-finding, and negotiation discussions and the program budget baseline process.

Here’s what you will need to bring with you:

Bachelor of Science degree in a financial and / or engineering discipline; MBA preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years, ten (10) preferred, with experience in a Pricing, Cost Analyst, or DoD audit capacity role

An intimate working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) required, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) preferred.

Direct supervision / leadership experience.

Pricing and/or contract negotiation experience.

Ability to travel to customers and Moog sites to support training and negotiations.

Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $160,000.00–$190,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
