Job Description:

Moog's Commercial Aircraft Group (CAG) is looking for a Manager, Cost Estimate & Pricing to oversee Group pricing activities. This includes developing successful pricing strategies, creating and enhancing standard pricing processes and templates, and analyzing new program opportunities to achieve target financial outcomes and goals.

You will report to the GVP, Finance & Business Management and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement a cost estimating system and process across multiple domestic and foreign sites to achieve accurate accounts of product and program costs estimates.
2. Develop pricing strategies and processes for all three Commercial Aircraft Group Divisions.
3. Act as a key member of the proposal team(s) and build pricing models based on RFP and Moog requirements.
4. Clearly communicate the "financial point of view", including the cost estimate itself with the related assumptions, in pricing meetings with Senior Leadership.
5. Assist Division Management in pricing objectives and new proposal activities.
6. Deal with diverse personalities and cultures within the Moog organization and customer representatives to ensure achievement of Group objectives in profitability and compliance.
7. Maintain and promote strong customer relationships during contract price negotiations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in a financial and/or engineering discipline; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Pricing, Cost Engineering, or an equivalent role.
• Pricing and/or contract negotiation experience.

Salary Range:

Buffalo, NY: $125,000 - $165,000 annually.

The salary range reflects the low and high end for this position in the specified location. Actual salaries vary based on experience, location, and performance. Compensation may also include bonuses, stock purchase plans, and region-specific benefits.
