Cengage Group seeks a Manager of Corporate FP&A to bolster corporate reporting and forecasting, driving financial performance across the organization. You will build models, project financials, and lead budgeting with business partners.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in accounting/finance, 2–4 years FP&A experience, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills, with a proactive, collaborative mindset and a focus on AI‑enabled improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years’ FP&A, private equity, or similar role.
• Knowledge of Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow statements.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Aptitude for AI and operational transformations.

Responsibilities

• Perform ad hoc analyses of spend, investments, and transformations.
• Build and maintain models for long‑term decisions and P/L impacts.
• Develop projections for planning, including proforma M&A activity.
• Support market intelligence and analyze business opportunities.
• Craft budgeting and forecasting decks for executives.
• Lead planning activities with FP&A and business partners.
• Identify efficiency opportunities from unit economics.
• Provide insights on performance trends and analytics.
• Streamline planning/reporting with AI‑enabled tools.
• Support external investor presentations and data needs.
