About the Opportunity

This role focuses on strengthening OKX US' first line of defense while serving as the primary operational engine and bridge between the US business and control functions. Operating in a highly fluid environment, this position bridges the gap between hands‑on internal controls and strategic US market execution.

You will work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with control functions across every aspect of the US business, from managing KYC/KYB onboarding pipelines and marketing content reviews to leading US executive reporting and customer support alignment. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, moves comfortably between granular risk management and growth strategy, and elevates organizational maturity to sustain OKX's growth, integrity, and regulatory excellence.

What You'll Be Doing
Controls Partnership & Operational Strategy

KYC / KYB Pipeline & Remediation: Support Compliance‑managed KYC and KYB onboarding pipelines, identifying friction points, accelerating throughput between business units and Compliance, and resolving operational friction.

Risk Governance and Coordination: Serve as the key liaison to the US Risk organization, providing assistance in the monitoring of KRIs and the implementation of the risk framework.

Customer‑Facing Content Governance: Lead the cross‑functional workflow for Compliance and Legal reviews of growth assets, including marketing campaigns, product launches, promotional materials, and client communications.

Client Support & Compliance Alignment: Partner closely with Client Support and Compliance to streamline escalated customer workflows, ensure client support operations reflect regulatory requirements, and resolve customer‑impacting compliance bottlenecks.

Controls Product Management: Work with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to understand key risks associated with new product launches, and utilize relationships with Product to promote innovation and product delivery.

Local Market Governance

Executive Reporting: Lead and coordinate reporting for executive meeting cadences, including soliciting updates and insight from business and control leads to present a cohesive view of US market performance and opportunities.

Policy & Procedures: Support the drafting and upkeep of operational policies and procedures. Prepare regular risk, control, and operational performance reporting for senior leadership.

First‑Line Defense Leadership: Represent business operations in first‑line risk management activities, supporting RCSAs, maintaining risk registers, and ensuring control effectiveness.

What We Look For In You

Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Operations, Program Management, Compliance Operations, Governance, or Risk Management within fintech, crypto/web3, or heavily regulated financial services.

Fluidity & Growth Mindset: A "builder" mindset with high comfort in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments. Ability to pivot smoothly from tactical execution (tracking pipeline bottlenecks) to strategic alignment (launching new market initiatives).

Incident & Process Acumen: Proven track record leading cross‑departmental incident response, mapping workflows, and executing post‑incident remediation.

Cross‑Functional Stakeholder Management: Superior written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships across control and first line teams.

  • L&D programs for employees' growth and development
  • Various team building programs and company events
  • Wellness and meal allowances
  • Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
