Job summary

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is seeking a Manager, Coe Clinical Business to oversee non-clinical administrative activities for the Division, including patient scheduling, registration and billing, as well as facilities maintenance.

The role also participates in capital budgeting and the clinical component of the operating budget, and prepares analytical reports for financial, administrative and programmatic planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in medical field in delivery of healthcare services.
• 3+ years of management experience preferred.
• Experience at CHLA preferred.

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Manager, Coe Clinical Business is responsible for managing non-clinical, administrative activities for the Division. Administrative responsibilities include all aspects of patient scheduling, registration, patient billing, as well as facilities maintenance. Participates in the preparation and monitoring of capital budgets as well as the clinical component of the operating budget. Prepares analytical reports for financial, administrative and/or programmatic planning.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in medical field in delivery of healthcare services, preferably in a faculty practice of hospital outpatient setting. 3+ years of management experience preferred. Experience at CHLA preferred.

Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor’s degree required; Masters degree in Hospital Admin, Business Admin, Public Health or Nursing preferred. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
