What you'll do at Jamf:

The Manager, Cloud Engineering, will provide leadership within Cloud & Delivery, overseeing Operations and Engineering. The role ensures teams meet their deliverables and prioritize effectively, working closely with stakeholders to meet strategic objectives.

This manager will ensure their teams understand current priorities, help develop subject matter expertise, and foster professional growth. They will also mentor Supervisors & Managers and travel between Poland and the Netherlands as needed.

This role is remote in Minneapolis, MN; Eau Claire, WI; or Austin, TX, with periodic work at local Jamf offices for certain events. Applications are only accepted from these locations.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining current knowledge in relevant areas through self-education and ongoing training.
2. Providing vision and oversight for software development, guiding teams on techniques, tools, and practices.
3. Delivering quality services, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring SLA compliance.
4. Serving as a point of escalation for customers and teams.
5. Ensuring compliance with SOC2 and ISO27001 initiatives, supporting related activities.
6. Collaborating with global leadership on schedules, on-call rotations, and staffing.
7. Leading and mentoring teams in building cloud-based platforms.
8. Prioritizing, monitoring, and managing results through planning and decision-making.
9. Identifying and mitigating project risks and obstacles.
10. Reviewing and revising project work plans as needed.
11. Analyzing workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
12. Providing technical leadership for development projects.
13. Ensuring code quality in the Cloud & Delivery base.
14. Mentoring teams on technical solutions, coding, and tools.
15. Applying Lean principles and Agile practices effectively.
16. Managing people responsibilities, including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and coaching.
17. Collaborating with engineering leadership to improve organizational functions.
18. Driving initiatives aligned with company objectives.
19. Seeking input from other departments for continuous improvement.

Qualifications we're looking for:

1. At least 5 years of experience in enterprise software development or related roles.
2. Minimum of 2 years management experience.
3. Expertise in Microsoft Azure & Kubernetes, including deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications.
4. Experience with Mac OS X and iOS platforms (preferred).
5. At least 3 years working in Agile environments.
6. Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo).
7. Certified in Scrum or Kanban (preferred).
8. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience.
9. Optional certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Admin.
10. 2+ years of Jamf product knowledge (preferred).

The salary range is a guideline, with final offers based on experience, education, location, and market factors.
