Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Leader to oversee and optimize perioperative processing and ensure timely reprocessing and delivery across departments. You will lead a team in a high-stakes clinical setting, driving quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring substantial sterile processing leadership experience, strong process-improvement skills, and a commitment to patient safety. This role is on-site in Georgia with opportunities for growth within the department.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years of relevant experience with 2 years in a leadership role required.
• Experience with process flow, manufacturing operations, and sterile processing preferred.
• In lieu of degree, 7 years of sterile processing experience with 2 years in leadership accepted.

Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing and managing the sterile processing areas supporting perioperative services and coordinating the reprocessing of and delivery of items to other areas within the health care organization.

Qualifications

Education

• Associates Degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school Required or
• In Lieu of degree 2 years of work experience in addition to the work requirement listed below. Required
• Bachelors Degree Preferred

Work Experience

• 5 years of relevant experience which must include two (2) years of leadership experience Required or
• In lieu of degree seven (7) years of experience working as a Sterile Processing or Surgical Tech, 2 of which working in a leadership capacity will be considered Required
• Experience with process flow, plant/manufacturing operations, assembly line, and/or sterile processing department Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Central Service Processing Certification Preferred
• Certified Operating Room Technician Certification in Sterile Processing Management Preferred
