McDonald’s Global Technology is hiring a Manager, Technical Business Analysis to bridge business needs and technical teams, translating requirements into data solutions. You will gather requirements, design specs, and drive data projects with engineers and architects to implement robust data pipelines.

The role requires a strong SQL background, experience in data warehousing, and excellent communication. A Bachelor’s degree is required and knowledge of Python is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in business analysis or related technical field.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with databases; knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
• Exposure to programming (Python, etc.) for data analysis is a plus.
• Proficiency in technical documentation and specification writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead translation of complex business requirements into technical specifications for data models, ETL processes and reporting tools.
• Oversee maintenance and updating of technical documentation.
• Act as liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment.

Department Overview

The role Manager, Technical Business Analysis bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by analyzing data requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring data-driven decision-making. This role involves gathering business needs, translating them into technical specifications, and working with data engineers, analysts, and architects to implement effective data solutions

Duties

• Requirement Translation: Lead the translation of complex business requirements into technical specifications for data models, ETL process, and reporting tools.
• Documentation Management: Oversee the maintenance and updating of technical documentation
• Technical Liaison: Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensure alignment between business logic and technical implementation
• Project Leadership: Lead technical projects and ensure timely delivery
• Advanced Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior stakeholders to refine requirements
• Work closely with data engineers, architects, and developers to design and optimize data pipelines
• Ensure data accessibility and usability for business users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5 years of experience in business analysis or related technical field
• Strong SQL skills and experience with databases, knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
• Exposure to programming (Python, etc.) for data analysis is a plus

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $115,872.00 - $144,840.00 per year
