Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Manager, Business Process Improvement & VOS to own small improvement projects and contribute to medium-scale initiatives across OTC, PTP, NPDI, SIOP, and Services in the Americas. You will lead sessions with IT and business leaders, map processes, and drive decisions using data tools.

The role requires 8–10 years of PM experience, a strong command of English, and collaboration across diverse teams. Travel up to 10% is expected, with no sponsorship provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Intermediate knowledge in project planning, development, management, and implementation.
• Project Management certifications (PMP, CSM, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) a plus.
• 8-10 years of experience in project management or exposure to multiple processes (OTC, PTP, NPDI, SIOP, and/or Services).
• Experience in an international and culturally diverse organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead value stream and process mapping workshops; prepare flowcharts and reporting packages.
• Perform root cause analysis and identify AI and automation opportunities.

Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Manager, Business Process Improvement & VOS leads end-to-end ownership of small process improvement projects and contributes significantly to medium-scale initiatives across Opportunity-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI), Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP), and/or Services within the Americas region. The Manager facilitates cross-functional working sessions independently, partners with IT and business leaders, and leverages data tools to support decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process Breadth:
  • Orients quickly in unfamiliar processes

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Intermediate knowledge in all areas of project planning, development, management, and implementation.
  • Project Management certifications (PMP, CSM, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) a plus.
• Work Experience:
  • 8-10 years of experience in project management or exposure to at least two of the following processes: OTC, PTP, NPDI, SIOP, and/or Services.
  • Experience in an international and culturally diverse organization.
• Communication Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages are a plus.
  • Good communicator, confident in interacting with all levels of individuals across a variety of internal/external functions.
• Analytical Skills:
  • Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and solve complex problems.
  • Good attention to detail.
• Technical Skills:
  • Intermediate experience with ERP financial applications (Oracle preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Project management experience and familiarity with Agile process improvement.
