Manager, Business Development & Sales Data Center Facilities

Manager, Business Development & Sales - Data Centers, Mission Critical Facilities

This position is REMOTE and can be located anywhere in the United States. Some travel may be required 25% or more.

Join our Sales & Market Development team as a Business Development Specialist for Data Centers and Mission Critical Facilities, and help us move towards a sustainable future.

Your new role

As a Business Development Specialist, you will develop and execute growth strategies to enhance EYP Mission Critical Facilities' expertise, footprint, and profitability in Data Centers and Critical Facilities, while ensuring excellent client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Generate new business and maintain existing accounts within Mission Critical Data Center markets (Colocation, Build to Suit, Hyperscale) and Enterprise sectors.
  2. Leverage your network in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or OEM backgrounds to identify new opportunities.
  3. Conduct sales calls with key stakeholders in data center colocation, enterprise, and hyperscaler sectors to promote mission-critical construction services.
  4. Prepare proposals, presentations, and briefings.
  5. Represent the company at trade shows and conferences to showcase our design/build services.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with current partners to generate additional opportunities.

Your new team

You will be part of the Sales & Market Development division within Ramboll, working with the Global Mission Critical Engineering team (EYP Mission Critical Facilities). This division specializes in critical facilities strategy, MEP design, and commissioning, offering opportunities for career growth through exciting projects and innovative technology.

About you

We support your growth from day one, and for this role, the preferred qualifications include:

  • 10+ years of business development/sales experience, with at least 3+ years in the data center industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Established relationships with Enterprise, Colocation, and Hyperscale clients
  • Active involvement with data center organizations (e.g., 7x24, iMasons, AFCOM)
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives and closing profitable deals
  • Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills
