Summary

We are hiring a Manager – Pre-sales Business Development (US IT government sector) to lead our efforts in crafting strategic IT proposals for the public and commercial sectors. You will collaborate with senior leadership, analyze RFPs and RFIs, oversee teams, ensure compliance, and leverage your IT expertise to drive growth. Your role is crucial in securing contracts through impactful proposal management and relationship building.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Capture:
    • Identify potential leads and opportunities within the federal IT services sector.
    • Research client needs to craft tailored proposals.
  2. Partnership Building:
    • Develop relationships with industry partners for federal projects.
    • Coordinate with business development and legal teams for partnership agreements.
  3. Federal Proposal Management:
    • Coordinate proposal kickoff meetings and develop schedules.
    • Lead proposal review meetings for content accuracy and compliance.
  4. Content Development:
    • Review and edit proposal content for clarity and compliance.
    • Collaborate with technical experts to develop proposal narratives.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Analyze proposal outcomes and incorporate lessons learned.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and regulations.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in Business Development and Capture for the public sector and commercial clients.
  • Extensive expertise in a broad spectrum of IT services.
  • Strong collaboration with technical SMEs and IT professionals.
  • Proven success in aligning proposals with evolving IT landscapes and contract mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with contract vehicles like GSA Schedules, IDIQ, and state/federal procurement mechanisms.
  • Excellent communication skills for leading teams and conveying complex concepts.
