AdventHealth in Tampa is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist for the Breast Center to lead mammography services and ensure MQSA compliance. The role involves collaboration with radiologists, surgeons, and administrators to maintain high standards of patient care.

Required qualifications include 10+ years in mammography, 5+ years with MQSA guidelines, stereotactic experience, ARRT certifications, and BLS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mammography experience.
• 5+ years of experience with acr regulations and mqsa guidelines for quality control.
• 5+ years of stereotactic experience.
• Registered Radiology Technologist RT(R)(ARRT) and RT(M)(ARRT) with BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provides input to annual budgeting and cost management related to equipment needs and staffing.
• Assists with planning Breast Conference and related activities.
• Communicates effectively with Radiologists, Surgeons, and Administration to ensure superior patient care and services.
• Evaluates and recommends equipment and ensures availability of medical supplies.
• Maintains and updates Breast Center policies and procedures.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates new and existing programs to ensure high-level services.
• Ensures compliance with licensing and regulatory standards, including MQSA QA/QC audits.
• Manages data collection to monitor clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.

Job Description

• Provides input to annual budgeting and cost management related to equipment needs and staffing.

• Develops service goals based on the department and organization's strategic plan.
• Plans, schedules, and manages procedural aspects of the Breast Center.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
