Manager, Branch

Pay range: $112,185.00 - $179,496.00. Scheduled weekly hours: 40.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee all functions of assigned location (express center, full service branch or cluster of branches) including ensuring quality Member service experiences, audit compliance, and achievement of credit union goals.
• Provide coaching and development for assistant manager, supervisor, and team members to enhance Member service.
• Utilize lending authority to make quality loan decisions and create plans to increase Member participation through focus on quality service in all team member interactions.
• Attract new Members through participation in school, community and business functions; conduct, coordinate and train staff on school visitations and off‑site presentation efforts.
• Create an environment to ensure a world‑class Member experience at every branch interaction.
• Provide consultative services to Members regarding credit union products and services and ensure team members are providing consultative services by assessing the Member’s needs, addressing concerns and gaining agreement.
• Maintain consumer loan decision authority and assist team with escalated lending situations.
• Direct branch marketing efforts; research, evaluate and implement department and/or divisional projects.
• Provide daily support to staff, answer questions, resolve problems, communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, and appraise job results.
• Train, coach, counsel, and discipline employees; develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
• Forecast requirements, prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures and analyze variances to accomplish financial objectives.
• Contribute to organizational goals and priorities as a member of the Management team; establish and implement plans that have short‑term (1‑2 year) impact on business results in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Evaluate operating procedures and policies, ensuring the highest levels of Member service, productivity and internal control.
• Initiate, research, coordinate, and implement department or division projects intended to benefit Members, internal team members or department operations.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws as well as applicable regulations; comply with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements, including BSA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience preferred.
• 10+ years previous experience in the financial industry preferred.
• 1‑3 years previous management experience required.
• Participation in the CA DMV pull program may be required depending on assignment.

Typically manages a medium‑to large‑size branch or cluster of branches. Specific criteria is based on a weighted average of branch size(s) and activity.
