Job summary

Carolina Brewery in Chapel Hill is hiring a Manager to oversee daily operations and lead shifts with focus on guest service and safety.

The role requires 1-2 years of management experience in upscale casual dining; a Hospitality Management degree is preferred. You will coach Team Members and ensure health codes.

Join a team-driven environment with base salary plus commission; work closely with the General Manager on programs, budgets and financials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years management experience in an upscale casual dining restaurant.
• A degree in Hospitality Management, or similar, is preferred.
• Ability to coach and develop Team Members.
• Strong passion for hospitality and service.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
• Working knowledge of local and national health codes.
• Excellent communication.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Maintain a safe working environment for Team Members and dining environment for Guests.
• Ongoing professional development
• Work with the General Manager to ensure all financials are on track, recorded accurately, and on time
• Work with various administrative programs
