Job summary

Player 15 Group in Phoenix is seeking an experienced Manager, Arena Security to oversee safety and security operations at Mortgage Matchup Center and 5G Performance Center. You will lead full-time security staff, coordinate training, and deploy security measures to protect guests, vendors, and team members.

You will manage security technologies, plan staffing for events, and ensure compliance with life safety codes while partnering with legal and operations teams to resolve incidents and claims

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of industry experience and supervisory experience.
• OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred (to be acquired within 6 months).
• Experience leading organizations of 100+ employees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures for staff briefing sessions.
• Perform periodic safety inspections of the facility interior and exterior.
• Lead management of security technologies, cameras, access control, and related infrastructure.
• Support staff scheduling to ensure adequate event coverage and daily operations.
• Conduct follow-up with guests on concerns or complaints and document claims.
• Coordinate with internal and external counsel for claims and legal matters as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality on lawsuits and company matters.
• Ensure life safety code compliance during events.
• Attend meetings with team members at all levels to align on security operations.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager, Arena Security to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will support all facets of managing, training, and deployment of full-time safety and security that will protect team members, guests, vendors, and all properties at Mortgage Matchup Center and 5G Performance Center while also playing a key role in broader department initiatives.

Your role on the team:

• Develop and implement procedures for staff to conduct briefings using consistent methodologies and leads briefing sessions as needed
• Perform and maintain consistent, periodic schedule for basic safety inspections of the inside and outside of the facility.
• Lead management and maintenance of security technologies. Including cameras, access control systems, and related infrastructure, while developing end-of-life replacement plans and budgets
• Support staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for events, daily operations, and emergency needs
• Conduct follow-up calls with guests who raise concerns or file complaints, ensuring issues are addressed. Compile and process all information for claims and legal matters
• Compile, document, and process all information related to claims, incidents, and legal matters; coordinate with internal and external counsel when required
• Maintain confidentiality on all lawsuits and company business issues
• General knowledge of life safety codes for compliance during events.
• Frequent attendance and participation in meetings involving team members of all levels, including front-line employees, executives, clients, and vendors.

What We Need from Our Manager, Arena Security:

• Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop posting, briefing sheets and interact with internal and external partners at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to respond to incidents during events and must have excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• At least 3-5 years of industry experience and supervisory experience
• Experience leading organizations of 100+ employees preferred
• OSHA 10 card required; OSHA 30 preferred (must be acquired within 6 months of start
