US Heart and Vascular in Franklin, TN seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP team, ensure accurate and timely invoice payments, and maintain vendor relationships in a multi-site healthcare environment.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and knowledge of accounting principles; you will collaborate with the AP Director and cross-functional partners to streamline workflows and ensure good vendor relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field.
• 3-4 years of high-volume AP experience, with progressive responsibility.
• Proven experience in leading an AP team.
• Experience with system transitions and integrations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice and expense reimbursement processing, coding, approval workflows, and payment disbursement.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions related to accounts payable.
• Review invoices for accuracy, resolve discrepancies or issues with vendors as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely receipt of invoices and resolve any billing concerns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and processes and improve efficiency in the accounts payable function.
• Manage the accounts payable team, including assigning work tasks and monitoring performance.

Description

US Heart and Vascular is needing an Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in Franklin TN.

Position Summary: The Accounts Payable Manager is a key member of the accounts payable team and this role is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process, ensures accurate and timely payment of invoices, maintains vendor relationships, and maintains financial records. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.
The AP Manager works closely with the AP Director to ensure assigned to AP Specialist day-to-day activities are accomplished including accurate general ledger coding of invoices, timely submission of accruals, and other assigned duties to ensure good standing with vendors and internal partners.
The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-site/multi-entity environments, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adapt, collaborate, and work through complex problems in fast-paced, deadline driven environments. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate effective critical thinking skills and comprehensive job knowledge.
• Assist corporate accounting team with month-end accruals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field required
• 3-4 years of relevant career experience in a high-volume AP department, with progressively responsible Accounts Payable experience, medium to large physician practice a strong plus
• Proven experience in managing and leading an AP team
• Experience with system transitions and integrations preferred
