Beyond Juicery + Eatery in Detroit's University District is seeking a Nights & Weekends Manager to guide our team during the busiest hours. This role suits someone who enjoys coaching others, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You’ll oversee evening operations, ensure food quality and cleanliness, support and develop team members, and ensure smooth shift execution. Late evenings, weekend, and holiday availability are required.

Position Summary

We're looking for a dependable Nights & Weekends Manager to lead our team during our busiest hours. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys coaching others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You’ll oversee evening operations, ensure food quality and cleanliness, support and develop team members, and make sure every shift runs smoothly. This position requires regular late evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

What You'll Do

• Lead and motivate the evening and weekend team to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ensure every guest receives friendly, fast, and accurate service.
• Manage shift operations, staffing, and workflow.
• Oversee food and beverage preparation to ensure quality and consistency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe restaurant.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and deposits.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs.
• Train, coach, and develop team members.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture.
• Support sales goals while maintaining operational excellence.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has previous restaurant, café, retail, or hospitality leadership experience (preferred).
• Leads with positivity, integrity, and accountability.
• Enjoys mentoring and developing others.
• Communicates clearly and respectfully.
• Stays calm and organized during busy shifts.
• Can multitask and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Understands food safety and sanitation best practices.
• Is dependable and punctual.
• Can stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Is available to work late evenings, weekends, and holidays on a consistent basis.

Schedule

This position primarily works evening shifts, closing shifts, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed. Weekend availability is required.
