Job summary

Comprehensive Logistics (CLI) in Dearborn, MI seeks a seasoned Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System, drive APQP with AIAG tools, and mentor teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service in a fast-paced 3PL environment.

You will own internal audits, analyze data, support process improvements, and ensure ISO/IATF compliance, Kaizen and Lean methods, as part of a growth-focused organization committed to equal opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a high-volume manufacturing or service provider.
• Tier 1 automotive and/or 3PL experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Integrated Supply Chain Model (i.e. Parts Sequencing, Sub-Assembly, Cross Docking, Operation Management, Logistics, Warehousing, and Material Handling).
• Ability to take initiative, identifying potential problems and solutions.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, TS is required. Knowledge of ISO 14001, IMDS and MMOG/LE is desirable.
• 5+ years of Quality Management experience.
• Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Knowledge of AIAG Core Tools; APQP/ FMEA / SPC/ PPAP / MSA.
• Experience with process flow diagrams, control plans, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Develop APQP documents and support processes consistent with AIAG core tools and standards.
• Manage the internal auditing processes to ensure adherence to company systems and procedures.
• Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate, facilitate (and correct) customer issues and complaints relating to quality i.e., defects, process failures and etc.
• Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical quality.
• Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of services.
• Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams.
