Job summary

Comprehensive Logistics Inc. (CLI) is seeking a Materials Supervisor to lead on-site warehouse operations in Philadelphia. You will manage shipping, receiving, and kitting, while directing CDL drivers and coordinating with the Operations Manager to ensure on-time shipments.

The role emphasizes inventory accuracy through cycle counts and full inventories, plus tracking safety, quality, delivery, and KPI performance. A materials/logistics background and prior supervision are essential.

Qualifications

• Background in materials management, logistics, or supply chain.
• Minimum 2+ years leading hourly employees.
• Forklift experience; certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of WMS and Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Excel skills with lookups, pivot tables, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and kitting.
• Provide direction to personnel, including CDL drivers.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager to ensure on-time shipments.
• Manage cycle count to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
• Participate in full physical inventories as required.
• Track KPIs on safety, quality, delivery, morale and environment.
• Train team members on processes and best practices.
• Respond quickly to operational issues to minimize disruption.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and kitting activities
• Provide direction and leadership to all personnel, including CDL drivers
• Coordinate closely with the Operations Manager to ensure on-time shipments and avoid delays
• Manage and execute the cycle count process to maintain 100% inventory accuracy
• Participate in full physical (“4-wall”) inventories as required
• Track and maintain key performance metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, morale, and environmental standards
• Train team members on processes, procedures, and best practices
• Respond quickly to operational issues to minimize disruption and maintain workflow

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Background in materials management, logistics, or supply chain
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years leading or supervising hourly employees
• Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
• Working knowledge of WMS systems and Microsoft Office
• Advanced Excel skills including, but not limited to, VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, multi-sheet and multi-workbook data referencing, graphical reporting, trend analysis, and KPI/dashboard creation
• Strong ability to train and develop team members
• Demonstrated “first responder” mindset with the ability to act quickly in critical situations

Location: On-site in Philadelphia, PA

Schedule/ Shift: Monday to Friday 6:30AM - 2:30PM
