Comprehensive Logistics is seeking a Materials Supervisor to lead warehouse operations in Philadelphia, PA. You will supervise shipping, receiving, and kitting while driving 100% inventory accuracy and timely shipments.

You will mentor hourly staff, coordinate with the Operations Manager, and implement KPI-driven improvements in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Background in materials management, logistics, or supply chain.
• 2+ years leading hourly staff in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift experience; certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of WMS and MS Office applications.
• Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and kitting.
• Provide direction and leadership to all personnel, including CDL drivers.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure on-time shipments and avoid delays.
• Manage cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy (100%).
• Participate in full inventories as required.
• Track KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, morale, and environmental standards.
• Train team members on processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Respond quickly to operational issues to minimize disruption.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and kitting activities
• Provide direction and leadership to all personnel, including CDL drivers
• Coordinate closely with the Operations Manager to ensure on-time shipments and avoid delays
• Manage and execute the cycle count process to maintain 100% inventory accuracy
• Participate in full physical (“4-wall”) inventories as required
• Track and maintain key performance metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, morale, and environmental standards
• Train team members on processes, procedures, and best practices
• Respond quickly to operational issues to minimize disruption and maintain workflow

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Background in materials management, logistics, or supply chain
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years leading or supervising hourly employees
• Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
• Working knowledge of WMS systems and Microsoft Office
• Advanced Excel skills including, but not limited to, VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, multi-sheet and multi-workbook data referencing, graphical reporting, trend analysis, and KPI/dashboard creation

• Strong ability to train and develop team members
• Demonstrated “first responder” mindset with the ability to act quickly in critical situations

Location: On-site in Philadelphia, PA

Schedule/ Shift: Monday to Friday 6:30AM - 2:30PM

Travel Requirements: Initial travel to other sites for training

Over Time: Possible weekends
