Aurum invites ambitious college students and new graduates to join its Management Training Intern Program in Minnesota. You will enter the field, engage customers, and progressively take on coaching, training, and leadership tasks as you advance through the program.
The four-phase path builds business fundamentals, field sales certification, store operations, and leadership practicum. Evening/weekend work is required as you grow into leadership roles.
Aurum is selecting active college students and recent graduates for its Management Training Intern Program—an intensive early-career development experience built to prepare the next generation of Aurum leaders.
We believe a degree represents more than classroom knowledge. It demonstrates commitment, discipline, adaptability, and the ability to complete something difficult. We are looking for candidates ready to apply those qualities inside a real operating business.
Aurum operates at the intersection of major national service providers, high-traffic big-box retail, and disciplined field execution. As our retail footprint expands, we need ambitious early-career professionals who can grow into Store Leads, Associate Directors, Market Directors, and future regional leadership positions.
This is where that career path begins.
THIS IS NOT A SHADOWING INTERNSHIP
MTIs do not spend the program observing meetings, completing administrative busywork, or waiting for meaningful responsibility.
You will enter the field, work directly with customers, produce measurable results, learn how stores operate, and gradually take responsibility for coaching, recruiting, training, and team performance.
The program is demanding by design.
You will be expected to work hard, maintain a full schedule, learn quickly, respond professionally to direct feedback, and perform in a results-driven environment. You will be measured on what you produce, how you conduct yourself, and whether you can be trusted with greater responsibility.
Learn Aurum’s business model, professional standards, customer experience expectations, reporting systems, recruiting process, and leadership philosophy.
Represent major national service providers inside established big-box retail locations. Develop proficiency in customer engagement, needs discovery, presenting solutions, overcoming objections, closing, and follow-up.
Work alongside experienced Store Leads while learning scheduling, reporting, store opening and closing procedures, customer resolution, compliance, retail relationships, and daily performance management.
Begin coaching newer representatives, assisting with interviews, supporting training, reviewing performance, and completing a final leadership assessment or field assignment.
Aurum expects serious effort from MTIs.
You will sell. You will be challenged. You will work evenings and weekends. You will receive direct feedback. You will be expected to improve quickly and take ownership of your results.
In return, Aurum will provide structured training, real operating experience, leadership exposure, direct coaching, and a defined path toward greater responsibility.
Our goal is not to keep successful MTIs in permanent training. Candidates who complete the program, meet graduation standards, and demonstrate leadership readiness will be prioritized for available leadership assignments.
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
We are especially interested in candidates who demonstrate:
Previous sales experience is helpful but not required. Leadership in athletics, student organizations, campus employment, hospitality, fundraising, military service, or other demanding environments may also be relevant.
Successful MTIs may advance into Store Lead, Associate Director, Market Director, business development, or other emerging leadership opportunities within Aurum.
For the right candidate, this program offers more than a first job after college. It offers the opportunity to learn how a business operates from the ground up, develop commercially valuable skills, and earn a leadership position while the organization is expanding.
Selected applicants will begin with an initial interview. Candidates who advance will receive complete program details during the interview and training process.
