As a Management Trainee, you will participate in our Operations Management Trainee Program. This entry-level training position includes an intensive 16-week program designed to prepare you for your initial role in operations. Under the guidance of a mentor, your responsibilities include learning transportation industry principles, efficient cross-dock operations, leadership communication, and relationship-building skills. Upon completing the program, relocation to another facility for your first leadership role in Operations will be required.
The training involves guided and independent study, interaction with Support Center and Service Center associates, observing an Account Manager during customer calls, and occasionally accompanying drivers on local delivery routes to understand the freight delivery process.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation or Logistics, or have at least two years of relevant work experience. A driving history meeting company standards is essential. Flexibility to relocate as needed, strong communication skills, professionalism, basic computer skills, and a strong work ethic are required. The average starting pay ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 annually.
