Job summary

AlphaGov, operated as Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov, seeks an Organizational Development Consultant for remote, project-based work with public agencies. There is no guaranteed assignment and engagements begin when contracts are awarded.

You will lead organizational assessments, design and facilitate leadership sessions, and draft implementation roadmaps with practical, actionable recommendations for public-sector clients. Occasional client travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an organizational assessment or operating-model engagement with a written deliverable.
• Facilitation of leadership or employee sessions, with notes the client could use.
• Ability to write findings, options, and an implementation sequence in plain language.
• At least two engagements you can describe by organization type, your role, and the result.
• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based collaborator, with occasional client travel

Responsibilities

• Support organizational assessments and operating-model reviews for public agencies.
• Design interviews, focus groups, or workshops that yield evidence.
• Document current roles, decision rights, and handoffs for client validation.
• Draft practical recommendations and a sequenced implementation roadmap.
• Facilitate working sessions with agency leadership and frontline supervisors.
• Contribute methods and past-performance narrative to proposals only when authorized.
• Separate findings from recommendations that require additional agency data

AlphaGov (Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov) delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.

We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise.
