Ideal candidates would have 10+ years of management consulting with 3-5 years of experience in program management and have strong interpersonal skills, superior oral and written communication skills, a client service focus, as well as the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop recommendations and implement complex solutions in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing to travel up to 25% as required by client engagements.
Strategic Consulting Responsibilities
- Assess organizational challenges: Identify inefficiencies, process gaps, or strategic misalignment
- Analyze data and trends: Use analytics to support recommendations (financials, KPIs, performance metrics)
- Develop business cases: Build and present strategic plans to senior stakeholders
- Provide expert recommendations: Suggest solutions aligned with business goals (e.g., org design, digital transformation, change management)
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews: Gather requirements and insights across departments
Program Management Responsibilities
- Provide project leadership in all aspects of planning, preparation, coordination, and execution of multiple projects and anticipate the needs as driven by project work plans
- Independently manage resources and be able to deliver all components of basic and standalone projects
- Plan client meetings by anticipating needs as driven by the work plan, coordinate meetings with key users, develop data requests and document key questions to be answered throughout the engagement
- Produce project documentation, research briefs, meeting materials, analysis, graphics, best practice presentations, benchmark information and interim and final deliverables
- Create meaningful relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Create work plans including project staffing, project approach, and resource requests to be reviewed with clients and executives
- Plan and manage large-scale initiatives: Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and risk across multiple projects
- Coordinate cross-functional teams: Align efforts across business units, IT, and external vendors
- Drive implementation: Ensure execution of strategic plans and manage the change management process
- Monitor and report progress: Track KPIs, generate dashboards, and communicate updates to executives
- Manage stakeholder expectations: Serve as the bridge between business sponsors and project teams
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or similar
- Management consulting experience, including client facing experience
- 3-5 years of program management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing program budgets and large teams
- Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
- Strategic thinker and problem solver with a drive to get all types of work done with high attention to detail
- Excellent ability to communicate across all mediums and settings; superior consulting and stakeholder management abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial and operational modeling, capital planning models and workforce models
- Project and program management (Agile, PMP preferred)
- Change management experience
- Business process improvement experience
- Financial modeling and ROI analysis experience
- Strong relationship building between internal customers, vendors and employees
Compensation
- The position is full time and will include a base salary, plus commission, and full benefits, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, vacation, and 401(k) with company match
