Job Details

Responsibilities

• Provide financial consulting services to clients in the engineering industry, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models using advanced Excel skills to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Manage the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, ensuring accurate and timely recording of acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Conduct regular ledger and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with management teams to develop annual budgets, monitor performance against budget, and provide variance analysis and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and drive the implementation of these initiatives.
• Provide financial expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and business development.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the engineering industry.
• Proficient in advanced Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and complex formulas.
• Strong knowledge of financials, including ledger management, annual budget preparation, income statement analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Experience in fixed asset accounting and financial reporting.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of driving financial initiatives to completion.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical financial management.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
