Job summary

Standish Management, LLC is seeking a Management Company Controller to oversee accounting for multiple management company clients across North America. You will supervise accounting staff, onboard new clients, and ensure accurate reporting, payroll, and tax compliance.

Responsibilities include reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, managing accounts payable, producing monthly or quarterly client reports, and supporting budgeting and intercompany settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Four+ years of public and/or private accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks.
• Familiarity with Bill.com and payroll systems.
• Strong communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting function for multiple management company clients.
• Onboard new clients and implement preferred systems and processes.
• Supervise Accounting Associates and Senior Accounting Associates.
• Manage accounts payable and client expense reporting.
• Review journal entries, bank reconciliations and supporting work papers.
• Process and record payroll and provide client reporting.
• Assist with tax compliance and budgeting/forecasting.
• Serve as primary client contact and support ad hoc requests.
