This position is located within the Office of the Convening Authority, Office Military Commissions (OMC). The Office of the Convening Authority is established in the Office of the Secretary of Defense under the authority, direction, and control of the Secretary of Defense.
Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Acts as a subject Matter-Expert in the area of Civilian Personnel laws, regulations, and departmental instructions and directives. Perform research and analysis related to the most effective and efficient use and management of the Office of the Military Commissions (OMC) Civilian Personnel Branch resources; with primary duties of implementing effective human resource management policies, plans, and procedures.
Plans and conducts complicated comprehensive analytical studies of organizations or significant segments of several major management functions to improve organizational structure and staffing levels. This position requires travel to Temporary Duty Station (TDY) Guantanamo Bay 1 week per month

The posted pay range is $121785 – $158322/yr.
