Job summary

Critical Start is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for our Managed Security Services team in Plano, TX. You will monitor and maintain multiple SIEM environments, onboarding and supporting security technologies such as Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk while delivering customized solutions to enhance our services.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in cybersecurity engineering, strong SIEM content creation skills, and experience with EDR and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a cybersecurity engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Configure data sources and log forwarders.
• Create custom content (dashboards, reports, alerts).
• Conduct environment reviews and gap analyses.
• Fulfill advanced SIEM requests.
• Provide technical guidance to teammates and clients.
• Develop playbooks and security documentation.
• Stay updated on threats and certifications.
