ComTec Solutions is seeking a Managed Services & Systems Administrator to support and optimize IT environments for mid-market and manufacturing clients in Rochester, NY.

You will manage servers, networks, Microsoft 365, virtualization, and cloud services, monitor performance, respond to incidents, implement patches and cybersecurity controls, and contribute to projects while growing your technical and business expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and AD.
• Knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms.

Responsabilités

• Administer and support servers, networks, cloud services, and endpoints for multiple client environments.
• Monitor system performance, security alerts, and backups, resolving issues proactively.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, and core infrastructure services.
• Implement cybersecurity controls, patching, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, escalate when needed, and document resolutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver managed services.
• Participate in on-call rotation and support change, incident, and problem management processes.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation and client environment records.
• Support IT projects such as migrations, upgrades, and new solution deployments.
• Communicate clearly with clients, providing status updates and recommendations.

You will monitor infrastructure, respond to incidents, implement patches and cybersecurity controls, and support backups and disaster recovery. Working in a collaborative, client-focused culture, you will tackle complex IT challenges, contribute to projects, and grow your technical and business expertise.
