Job summary

Deloitte France seeks a Managed Services Engineer II to help develop, test, tune, and maintain cybersecurity detections supporting client security operations.

Responsibilities include reviewing threat intelligence, creating and updating detection rules, debugging false positives, and collaborating with SOC analysts and incident responders. 2+ years in cybersecurity required; sponsorship may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering.
• 2+ years in cybersecurity, security operations, threat intelligence, networking, or systems administration.
• Experience reviewing authentication events, network traffic, OS activity, vulnerability data, security logs or alerts.
• Experience scripting or querying: Python, PowerShell, SQL, KQL, or SPL.
• Experience documenting technical findings and test results.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Review threat intelligence, emerging threats, attack techniques, vulnerabilities and incident history to define detections.
• Develop, maintain and update detection rules, queries, signatures, and indicators of compromise.
• Configure and tune detections; identify false positives; propose improvements for coverage.
• Test and validate detection rules against known threats and attack scenarios; document results.
• Monitor detection performance; investigate gaps; collaborate with SOC analysts, threat hunters and client teams.
