Job summary

Unlock Health is seeking a Business Analyst to turn managed care data into clear insights and strategic recommendations. You’ll support projects from research to delivery, participate in client conversations, and help healthcare providers strengthen payor strategies.

Located in the United States, this role emphasizes collaboration with finance, revenue cycle, and analytics teams, and requires 1–3 years of relevant experience with strong communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, healthcare consulting, managed care, or related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, analytics, communications, data science, or related field.
• Healthcare industry experience and understanding of managed care & reimbursement structures (payor contracts, DRGs, CPT codes, fee-for-service or value-based models).
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SQL/Tableau/Snowflake is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted client relationships and partner with day-to-day client interactions.
• Gather requirements, document decisions, and translate needs into actionable next steps.
• Analyze client data, reimbursement trends, benchmarking info, and public datasets for insights.
• Evaluate managed care reimbursement structures (payor contracts, DRGs, CPT codes, models).
• Translate findings into clear stories, executive presentations, and client-facing reports.
• Draft meeting recaps, findings summaries, talking points, and decision-support materials.
