Unlock Health is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Managed Care team in a role focused on turning complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations. You will support projects from research to delivery, participate in client conversations, and collaborate with internal experts to strengthen payor strategies and financial performance.

The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, clear communication, and the ability to translate findings into client-ready materials.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, healthcare consulting, managed care, strategic communications, or related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, analytics, communications, data science, or related field.
• Healthcare industry experience and a foundational understanding of managed care and reimbursement structures (payor contracts, DRGs, CPT, fee-for-service or value-based models).
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL/Tableau/Snowflake is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted client relationships by acting as a responsive day-to-day partner.
• Attend client meetings, gather business requirements, document decisions, and translate needs into next steps.
• Analyze client data, reimbursement trends, benchmarking info, and public datasets for insights.
• Evaluate managed care reimbursement structures, including payor contracts, DRGs, CPT codes, and models.
• Translate findings into clear stories, executive presentations, and client-facing reports.
