Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Managed Care Biller for our Skilled Nursing Facility. You will handle claims submissions, verifications for authorizations, and payment reconciliation to ensure timely reimbursement.

The role requires collaboration with admissions and finance to keep resident billing accurate, compliant with managed care contracts, and focused on delivering high-quality service to residents and partner plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant education in finance or accounting.
• Experience in billing and accounts receivable, preferably in healthcare with managed care billing.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication; proficient with billing software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process and submit claims to managed care organizations for services provided to residents.
• Verify and obtain pre-authorizations for services covered by managed care plans.
• Reconcile payments and investigate discrepancies in payments/denials.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments and denials.
• Address billing inquiries and collaborate with managed care billing/claims teams.
• Prepare AR/billing performance reports for management and compliance review.
• Coordinate with admissions and finance to ensure accurate billing.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and billing regulations; maintain documentation.
