Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Addison, TX is seeking a Medicaid Billing Specialist to manage Medicaid AR, claims processing, billing, and reimbursement for multiple SNFs in Texas. You will ensure timely submissions, resolve denials, post payments, and maintain accurate records while aligning with federal and state Medicaid regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Prior Medicaid billing experience in SNF/long-term care environment required.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid billing and revenue cycle concepts.
• Proficient in ICD-9/10 coding principles.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly Medicaid claims for multiple SNFs in Texas.
• Create, submit, monitor, and reconcile Medicaid claims.
• Investigate and resolve denied or underpaid claims.
• Verify resident eligibility and payer requirements.
• Post payments and maintain reimbursement records.
• Respond to inquiries from providers, facilities, and payers.
• Collaborate with third-party billers and facility staff.
• Support collection efforts and aging analyses.
