Job summary

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is seeking an Investment Advisory Operations (IA Ops) team member to serve as the primary operational resource for managed account programs. You will support advisors, field partners, vendors, and internal brokerage teams through operational expertise and service execution.

The role focuses on handling inquiries via phone/chat/email, processing updates and rebalances, and building expertise in SMA/UMA/APM/FSP while collaborating with Envestnet and other vendors

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in financial services, brokerage operations, advisory operations, or a related field.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 licenses required, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary operational resource for managed account programs by responding to advisor and internal inquiries through phone, chat, and email channels.
• Process managed account maintenance requests, account updates, rebalances, and other operational activities accurately and efficiently.
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in managed account platforms, products, and operational processes.
• Partner closely with Envestnet and other external vendors to resolve issues, support platform enhancements, and improve the advisor experience.
• Assist advisors in implementing investment management strategies by leveraging third-party money managers and available managed account solutions.
• Monitor, analyze, and resolve operational inquiries while meeting established service level expectations and quality standards.
