Job summary

MetroHealth Park East in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to join our department. This on-site role features day shifts with 5x8 schedules and rotating weekends, working 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

You will perform breast imaging procedures, ensure quality assurance, and deliver age-appropriate patient care while upholding our mission and service standards. Requires ARRT with mammography certification within 1 year, Ohio license and BLS, plus strong

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with advanced certification in mammography within 1 year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License and BLS certification from the American Heart Association (or obtained within probationary period).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• One year of job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs breast imaging procedures utilizing dedicated breast imaging equipment for the diagnosis of breast cancer and diseases.
• Provides appropriate age-specific patient care.
• Performs quality assurance appropriate for mammography.

• Biweekly Hours: 80
• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 5x8 hr shifts
• Start/End Time: 8a-4:30p

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in mammography within 1 year of employment
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or obtains within the standard probationary period
• Effective communications and good interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of job-related experience
• Previous experience in the use of computers dedicated to mammography equipment and special procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
• May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
