Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, Ohio, invites qualified Radiologic Technologists to join our Level 1 Trauma Center. You will perform diagnostic XRAYs on patients from infants to adults using Siemens and Shimadzu equipment, under evenings shift with 8-hour blocks.

Candidates must have an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registration, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification (or obtain during probation).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• BLS Certification or obtained within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Obtains diagnostic XRAYs using radiation-generating equipment to aid physicians and providers in the diagnosis of diseases in infants through adults.

• Siemens diagnostic DR x-ray equipment

• Shimadzu x-ray with stitching capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of am accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Has and maintains status as a Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Physical Requirements

• May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
• May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
