Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic XRAY imaging for patients from infants to adults in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center.

Evening shifts, biweekly 48 hours, 8-hour blocks (3p-11:30p) with every 4th weekend, and potential relocation support plus a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• BLS Certification or to be obtained within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Obtains diagnostic XRAYs using radiation-generating equipment to aid physicians.
• Works with a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
• Ensures patient safety, proper imaging techniques and documentation.

Obtains diagnostic XRAYs using radiation-generating equipment to aid physicians and providers in the diagnosis of diseases in infants through adults.

• Brand new Siemens Flouro remote and direct units
• Siemens diagnostic DR x-ray equipment
• Portable Konica digital unit
• Shimadzu x-ray with stitching capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of am accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Has and maintains status as a Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Physical Requirements

• May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
• May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
