Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist license/State license, ARRT registration preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in mammography or diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammographic equipment and related devices.
• Positions patients and uses immobilization as needed.
• Selects exposure factors for correct imaging.
• Evaluates image quality and requests additional images as needed.
• Prepares and sets up medical supplies using aseptic technique.
• Explains procedures to patients.
