Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State and/or Connecticut Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience performing radiologic exams.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam and explains procedure in lay terms; secures consent if necessary.
• Performs radiologic exams, positions patient, and adjusts equipment for correct exposure.
• Processes and maintains images, labels films, and ensures proper marking and documentation.
• Performs related duties as required.

Education

Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program

New York State and/or Connecticut Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
