Job summary

RRH is seeking a Mammo Tech to perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, with emphasis on patient comfort and safety. You will assist radiologists, monitor image quality per ACR standards, and maintain thorough documentation in RIS/PACS.

Requirements include a two-year Radiologic Technologist degree, NY license/permit, and ARRT-R certification with ARRT-M preferred. Per diem schedule, M-F hours in Rochester, NY, with flexibility for imaging locations.

Qualifications

• Two-year Radiologic Technologist degree or equivalent.
• ARRT-R certification required within six months of employment.
• ARRT-M Advanced Mammography certification desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and radiology software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exams documentation in RIS/PACS and charts.
• Perform screening, diagnostic, and mammographic procedures.
• Monitor image quality per ACR standards.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report issues.
• Support radiologists and assist with patient care handoffs.
• Prepare rooms, restock, and participate in department meetings.
