Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Mammography Technologist for per diem shifts in New York. You will operate mammography scanners, position patients, and obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Collaboration with physicians and adherence to MQSA standards are essential. The role requires ARRT registration, AMA-approved radiography training, state licensure where applicable, CPR, and ongoing CEUs.

Qualifications

• Must have AMA approved radiography program.
• ARRT registered technologist in good standing.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in applicable state.
• CPR certification current.
• Continuing CEUs in modality per MQSA or state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned mammography scanner to produce diagnostic images.
• Position patients and explain procedures to ensure accurate imaging.
• Maintain records in RIS and follow physician orders.
• Adhere to safety regulations and dose reduction practices.
• Support department with protocol manuals, inventory, and training.
