Rochester Regional Health Imaging Center is seeking a Mammography Tech to deliver high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms while ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will support radiologists, position patients, and maintain strict ALARA standards in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal candidates have ARRT-M Mammography, NY licensure readiness, and strong patient service skills. This per diem role requires flexible hours and coordination with the imaging department team.

As a Mammo Tech, you are to demonstrate excellent customer service, communication skills, and obtain quality positioning and imaging quality studies while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients. Warm and comforting patient care skills are mandatory for these sensitive procedures. Performs screening and diagnostic mammogram examinations and assists the radiologist in performing mammographic procedures. This team member's role is to obtain images of good diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and safety to the patient undergoing these exams.
Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.
Required Licensure/Certification Skills: NYS license in Radiologic Technology OR must hold a NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification (ARRT-R) is required within six months of employment.

Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.
PAY RANGE: $29.50 - $42.50 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
