Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality mammography examinations following ACR guidelines. The role includes screening and diagnostic mammography and all related procedures.

The candidate must have an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology education, ARRT certification, NJ state license, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT licensure (M) and NJ state license required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing mammography examinations following ACR requirements. This includes screening and diagnostic mammography as well as all Mammographic procedures.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Must be able to meet the requirements for the National Registry (ARRT) and pass the examination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT,M)
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
