Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CAHEA/AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• If not registered in Mammography (ARRT-M), certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography and breast imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate clinical interpretation.
• Assist radiologists with image-guided breast procedures as required.
• Monitor and support patient safety, comfort, and care throughout imaging procedures.
• Perform and document equipment QC in accordance with departmental protocols and report issues.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data within departmental systems.
• Apply radiation safety practices and sterile techniques to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide instruction to radiology and ultrasound students rotating through the imaging modality.
