Job Overview

About the Department

The Mammography Department at Tufts Medical Center is a comprehensive breast imaging center collaborating with various healthcare teams. Technologists perform or assist with exams including screening and diagnostic mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsies, and clip placements.

Schedule

24 hours per week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiology or related field
• ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology and Mammography
• State license or eligibility
• Four years of mammography experience
• Basic Life Support Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• X-Ray experience

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams independently following standards
• Verify patient and procedure details
• Provide clear patient instructions
• Ensure safety and quality control
• Coordinate with staff and maintain supplies
• Train students and new technologists

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting 30-35 lbs
